On March 10, according to official NBA records, Bam Adebayo scored 83 points against the Washington Wizards in a 150-129 Miami Heat victory. It was the second-highest single-game total in NBA history, behind only Wilt Chamberlain’s 100 in 1962, and it moved Adebayo past Kobe Bryant’s 81, a record that had stood for twenty years.
